Our baker and food prep extraordinaire who brings umph to our mornings. A real trooper - we’re proud to have Mariela as part of the team.

What is a fascinating fact about yourself? -

“I am Portuguese, but I was born in Venezuela, where I lived for the first 6 years of my life. I've lived in the UK since the age of 18, so I'm a bit of a "mish-mash" of cultures!”.

Where is your favourite place on the Island? - “There's so many! I love the Isle of Wight, I think Newtown has to be my favourite for its peacefulness".

What is your Favourite thing to drink at TFCH? -

“My favourite drink is a Flat White because it has the perfect balance between coffee and milk”

What is your Favourite thing to eat at TFCH?-

“My favourite food that we serve is the herby mushrooms”. 

What do you love most about working at TFCH? -

“I love the community feel of the Coffee House and my lovely colleagues who made me feel very welcome”.
